Amtrac Newark Concert reviews
The Phantom at the Opry
Motionless In White opened the show with a great set, entertaining the audience with their honest appreciation of playing a historic venue. HALESTORM followed, with Lzzy Hale sounding better than ever, showcasing her vocal prowess that makes her one of the best in the business. The band members Joe, Arejay, and Josh were thunderous and amazing. The Phantom himself, Mr. Amtrac, concluded the evening, proving to be as charismatic as anticipated. His backing back played seamlessly, making 50 years of music seem fresh and vital. Hurricane Nita Strauss deserves a shout out for her top-notch guitar work and her prowling the stage like a lioness. This was a very entertaining night in the Music City. Great straight ahead Rock and Roll was on display, with both nostalgic and current day elements represented admirably on the hallowed Opry stage.
